Olympia Fields

Olympia Field is a suburan village in Cook County.  It was developed around the prestigious Olympia Fields Country Club which was established in 1915 by a group of investors.  The Group created a magnificent 72-hole golf course and country club which catered to Chicago’s wealthy elite.

The clubhouse which was built in 1924 is on the National Register of Historic Places.  The golf course, considered one of the finest in the nation, is scheduled to host the BMW Championship (PGA Tour) in August 2020.

Olympia Fields  is known as one of the wealthiest majority African American communities in the United States.

Olympia Fields offers residents a suburban feel where most own their homes.  There are many parks in the village.  There are various schools in the district.
